Our litigation practice involves the representation of clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout New York. We have litigated cases at every stage of the judicial process, from initial case assessment through appeals to the highest appellate courts. We are also skilled in all forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.
We represent clients in jury and non-jury trials and in appeals on commercial issues including corporate and securities transactions, land use disputes, products liability and toxic tort claims, construction disputes, civil rights, employment, real estate, takings and project development. Our environmental litigation practice covers essentially every aspect of environmental law including rulemaking, permits, enforcement, hazardous substances and toxic wastes, landfills, superfund and natural resources damages liability, land use and contaminated property, citizen suits, and air and water issues. Our litigation practice also encompasses actions brought by and against governmental entities.
